STROLLING LONDON’S LANDMARKS
See London’s greatest sites in an afternoon.
London is a world-class metropolis that needs no introduction. It’s a well-known fact that one terrible British impression occurs in the US every eight seconds.
The city’s vast and the London Underground system’s daunting but most of the iconic landmarks of London can be strolled in a day, or even a few hours.
After a lunch of fish and chips or meat pie in the Westminster area, it shouldn’t be hard to find Big Ben, and from there you can make your way to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
If you want to stay on course and gain more historical insight, there are plenty of walking tours available at a nominal price. In any case, the walk will only take a few hours. You’ll be just in time for four-o’clock tea at a high-end hotel or any o’clock beers in a basement pub.
